Application
BioGest is supplied in either as water soluble sachets or a concentrated biological liquid. Each contains a measured dose.
To apply sachets:
- Simply drop the whole sachet into the toilet and flush, or put it directly into the first chamber of the septic tank.
- For a normal household tank of up to 5000 litres capacity a typical dose would be one sachet per week. If the tank is larger, household numbers are high or chemical cleaners are used frequently increase the dose to two sachets per week.
- To restore the biological balance of a tank which is performing badly an initial dose of 5 sachets is usually effective, or one a day for the first week.
- For best results apply BioGest in the late evening when kitchen and cleaning activity is low. Use the toilet nearest to the septic tank to minimise the drain run.
- It is important to remember that regular dosing is necessary to maintain the system.
To apply the liquid:
Similar basis to the sachets, however the liquid comes in an innovative ‘tip & pour’ bottle which ensures a measured dose of the bio-fluid can be poured in each application.
